Welcome to Sepial’s Table at The Fermentary, Makers Landing

We serve mostly something fermented or complimenting fermatations. Chef Sepial is originally from Korea but trained French cuisine. So we try not to limit ourselves as a Korean restaurant , but more about showcasing the exciting world of fermentation as  elevating our daily food. 

Seats

We have a long table of 14 seats and a table for 4, 4 bar seats as well as tables in concession area overlooking Makers Landing and balcony with harbour view. If you have any preference, please leave a message when you make a reservation. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee your request.

Dietary requirements​

We can accommodate vegan, vegetarian and some other dietary requirements, but we cannot accommodate gluten-free and allium (onion, garlic, spring onion) allergies. Despite the best efforts, please be advised that food prepared here may contain milk, eggs, wheat, soybean, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish and other allergens. Please contact us before you make a reservation or place an order if you have any concerns.

Large groups​

Our maximum capacity for larger parties is 7 guests (depending on availability) inside; with our limited floor space, groups larger than 6 may impact the dining experience of our other guests. You are more than welcome to sit outside when the weather permits or concession area which can be reserved. Please leave a message when you make a reservation. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Please note there will be a 15% service fee added onto the bill.

For dinner, please arrive before 18:30 in order to finish before our regular closing time of 20:00 in order to ensure that our work  is sustainable as a small team. We really appreciate  your understanding.

You are more than welcome to stay longer around concession areas after clearing the table.

  • Number of people in your party

  • Date and time

  • Dietary requirements/allergies

For a private lunch/dinner for more than 12 persons, please contact us by email at least one month in advance.

Children /Dogs​

We love little food lovers. However, guardians must be mindful all the time as we have many fragile things on the table and around. ​

Please be notified that we are not responsible for any accidental injury to your child(ren) or loss or damage to their belongings. The guardians must take responsibility for any damages occurring to the business and it's property as a result.

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed in the whole Makers Landing except service dogs.

BYO​

You are more than welcome to bring your own until we get the liquor license. We have seasonal non alcoholic cocktails and house made kombucha which you can add your own shot(s) of gin. Vodka/sochu/soju/beijiu are preferred, but not limited.

There is Pienaar & Son Distilling Co. selling cocktails, beer and wine during their trading hours as well. 

Cancellation/lateness policy​

Please contact us as soon as possible in the event you are unable to make it to your reservation or will be late by more than 15 minutes. We would appreciate being notified of cancellations at least 24 hours in advance for our tasting menu or a bigger group.
