About the Event

This is easy to cook Korean food from our Youtube channel Secret Ingredients . Something you can cook in one pot or prepare for many meals.

2nd of March - Kimbap, rice and assorted meat and vegetables wrapped in seaweed. You can make a lot to freeze for later. Vegan/vegetarian/gluten intolerance/halaal can be accomodated.

9th of March - Ddeokbokki, chewy rice dumplings cooked with sweet and spicy sauce with veggies. Vegan/vegetarian can be accomodated. Halaal can be accomodated if it is okay to take a small amount of alcohol naturally produced during the fermentation of gochujang which will be cooked.

16th of March - Easy bibimbap, beautifully arranged veggies, egg, meat or mushrooms on rice, seasoned with spicy gochujang sauce or sesame soy sauce. Vegan/vegetarian/gluten intolerance/halaal can be accomodated.

23rd of March - Japche, sweet potato glass noodle seasoned with soy sauce and sesame oil. With complimenting strips of veggies and beef make this dish one of the most popular in Korean food. Vegan/vegetarian/gluten intolerance/halaal can be accomodated.

30th of March - Kimchi fried rice. Vegan/vegetarian/gluten intolerance/halaal can be accomodated.

*Your dietary requirements must be notified when you buy your ticket. 

Included in the workshop:

  • A workshop with Sepial
  • Your own food to take home or eat at Makers Landing
  • Complimenting sides and drinks will be available to purchase.

We will provide:

  • All the ingredients, prepped and measured before hand to make
  • Equipment to cook (aprons, mixing bowls, etc.)

Please note:

In the interest of being environmentally friendly, we would appreciate if you could bring your own lunch box to take food home. If you are unable to, we will be selling packages at the workshop on the day.

You can buy sauce, kimchi, frozen prep meals and others at whole sale prices after workshop.
